Alasdair Allen

Alasdair Allen joined BEAR Scotland in January 2005 and is currently the Senior Operations Manager for the South East Scottish Trunk Road Unit.

Alasdair is a Chartered Engineer with over 35 years highway maintenance experience. He has been involved in the trunk road contracts since 2001 and has worked in the North West, North East and South East Units during that time.

Throughout his tenure on these contracts he has worked in Operational Management including Winter Service, starting of as a Duty Officer before becoming Winter Manager and more recently Severe Weather Manager.

Alasdair’s top priorities are to ensure successful delivery of the Network Management Contract for the SE Unit in line with contractual requirements whilst focusing on the Health & Safety and quality aspects of operational delivery.
